The funny thing is with the XR200 the earlier ones are better, they had adjustable rear suspension and were very nimble through the bush.

They were a great little bike.
I remember watching Steve Chapman win the tin mine special test at the Foster enduro in 1984 on an XR 200 and came close to winning outright.

he just ripped the top out of the carb and tap danced on the gear lever. Shocked
it was impressive.
