I decided to visit my daughter in Cairns. My wifes car is 6 years old and has only 25000 on the clock. So it's time for a decent run.

Day 1 - Mornington peninsula to Parkes (824km).
Day 2 - Parkes to Roma Qld (890km).
Day 3 - Roma to Charters Towers (880).
Day 4 - Charters Towers to Cairns (496km).

I've  travelled a bit and enjoyed this run. Now it's  time to kick back and enjoy this with a brew or two.

Dirranbandi Qld - about 70km (on A55) past the NSW border are these free hot/cold showers and toilets. It was just shy of 37° and would be great if you were passing through on a bike.
