Having said all along that, I was tempted to go down the Thai pathway and thought how 'bad' can they be?'

I haven't heard any bad reports and I reckon they'd be worth a try.  Huh?

Mate of mine had to abort with his IT425G lace up. Nipples were too small and the spokes were meant to be thicker at the hub....there was something else too but can't remember. Cheap for a garage queen or smaller bore putt-putt bike me thinks. I would prolly use them on my smaller bikes but not the IT's.

Cheers,
Chris.

Just found some pics of another mate's bike (albeit front wheel)...bought front and rear sets from vintage 001.

A bit too small for comfort me thinks, ditto for the nipples...

Thanks for the feedback gents. I called Lightfoot and spoke to Phil, he was very helpful and I will get a zinc plated set for $148.

That's a fair price I think Tony....last set of OEM on ebay went for $169.99USD with a hefty shipping charge to boot.

I'm after a good condition 18" rear wheel for this project. On closer inspection mine is damaged.
PM or email (tonyhehir@hotmail.com.au) if have one you will part with for cash.
